Central Park Condesa Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Central Park Condesa, you immediately get that “boutique hotel done right” feeling — it’s polished without being stuffy, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole place. The lobby has this clean, modern aesthetic that feels distinctly Mexican City contemporary, and honestly, the staff’s genuine warmth hits you right away. You can tell this four-star property takes pride in the details, from the thoughtful lighting to the way everything just feels intentionally designed rather than cookie-cutter corporate.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about Condesa — it’s where you actually want to be in Mexico City, and Central Park Condesa sits right in the sweet spot of it all. You’re on Avenida Nuevo León, which means you can walk to some of the city’s best cafes, galleries, and restaurants without dealing with the chaos of other neighborhoods. I mean, you’re literally surrounded by tree-lined streets, art deco architecture, and that relaxed vibe that makes Condesa feel more like a European quarter than typical CDMX. The fact that couples rate this location so highly makes perfect sense — there’s something romantic about strolling these streets, especially in the evenings when the neighborhood comes alive.

The Room Experience

The rooms strike that perfect balance between comfort and style that’s honestly harder to find than you’d think. Everything feels thoughtfully curated — the bedding is genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable), and the bathrooms have those little touches that show someone was paying attention during the design process. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything stays despite being in such a central location. You get plenty of natural light, and the overall aesthetic feels contemporary Mexican rather than trying to be something it’s not.

Practical Perks

You know what’s actually a big deal in Mexico City? Having reliable parking, and Central Park Condesa offers free private parking on-site — which, if you’ve ever tried to park in Condesa, you’ll understand is worth its weight in gold. The property consistently gets perfect location scores from guests, and after staying there, I get why. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re staying in the real Mexico City, not some isolated hotel bubble. The service feels personal rather than scripted, and there’s this sense that the staff actually knows the neighborhood and can point you toward the good stuff.

Why Guests Love It

With a 9.6 rating, Central Park Condesa clearly does something right, and I think it comes down to authenticity mixed with genuine comfort. This isn’t trying to be the flashiest hotel in the city — instead, it’s nailed that sweet spot where everything works smoothly, the location couldn’t be better, and you feel like you’re experiencing Mexico City the way locals do. Couples especially seem to connect with the intimate scale and the romantic neighborhood setting. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because leaving feels premature, and honestly, that’s the best endorsement any hotel can get.

Reviews of Central Park Condesa

  • Lawrence from United Kingdom – 13 April 2025 (9/10)

The apartment was really comfortable and well appointed with everything needed to make you feel at home.
The owner’s communication was excellent and was so kind in going out of their way to lend us a pram / buggy for our smallest child.
The location is ace- in the middle of one of the nicest areas in Mexico City with coffee and food spots all in close vicinity as well as close to the main city park and museums. We felt totally safe walking around with our two small kids.
The apartment had 24/7 front door security who helped us with our heavy luggage.
The roof top pool was the cherry on the cake – perfect after a days city exploring.

What could be improved: Nothing- all was fantastic.

  • Roy from United Kingdom – 14 February 2025 (9/10)

Location and the overall apartment. It's nice that it was split level and you go upstairs for the bedrooms. Kitchen and lunge area bog and comfortable.

What could be improved: Unfortunately the road noise and anyone shouting , sounding their horns outside the front room bedroom makes it impossible to sleep. My friend slept on the sofa downstairs as it wasn't possible to fully sleep and rest.

  • Nathan from United States – 3 December 2024 (7/10)

Location is great and the apartment is comfortable.

What could be improved: Another two heaters would be nice because it was cold at night. Also, the smell of sewage by the washing machine can be very bad. Otherwise, we enjoyed the apartment.

  • Bernardo from Colombia – 16 November 2024 (10/10)

Ubicacion excelente, comodo, lindo, muy limpio y muy bien equipado con todo lo que se necesita para una buena estadia

What could be improved: Todo excelente

  • Alexa from United States – 29 October 2024 (8/10)

Excellent location, super clean and modern property with great amenities, and very responsive hosts.

What could be improved: Property was unfortunately very noisy at night. One bedroom is facing a busy street and the other bedroom is facing the courtyard (and one of the windows did not close all the way) where we heard an aggressive fight from another apartment one night and a big party another night over the weekend.

  • Louise from United Kingdom – 25 May 2024 (9/10)

We stayed here in February 2024 as a party of three adults. The location of the property is brilliant for exploring La Condesa and Roma and for seeing the sights of Mexico City. The apartment is extremely spacious and very elegantly decorated and furnished. The living room in particular with its comfortable sofas, large dining table, open plan kitchen and outdoor terrace is a great space for family and friends to gather. The kitchen was well provided with cooking facilities and storage and the adjacent utility room with its washing machine and tumble drier was very useful. And the icing on the cake was the roof terrace with swimming pool, sun loungers and incredible views of Mexico City. We had a lovely stay here and although it is in a busy city centre location, I would recommend it if you are looking for a clean, stylish, modern apartment in the heart of the city.

  • Craig from Australia – 28 April 2024 (9/10)

Almost everything great location and quality furnishings and comfort

What could be improved: Cooling fans could not be set at a lower temperature on hot nights
TVs too complicated to switch to English but probably wouldn’t have watched much TV anyway as the City so amazing to experience.

  • Stefan from United Kingdom – 5 April 2024 (9/10)

Perfect location within a safe, beautiful neighbourhood. Away from the hustle and bustle of the historic centre but still accessible. Lots of facilities/amenities such as parks, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Only a relaxed 20/30 minute walk over to Chapultepec Park. Ubers pick up outside for anywhere you don't fancy the walk to.

Apartment was well furnished with a modern 'trendy' look and to a good standard. Wifi and hot water all good. Friendly security guard present at all times on the entrance.

What could be improved: Only slight criticisms would be that some electrical fittings looked a little 'shoddy' and could probably do with isolating.

Also found it quite hard to get a lounger around the pool if you weren't there early.

  • Paul from United States – 25 February 2024 (10/10)

The apartment is overall awesome. It is huge, newly renovated, beautiful, every detail has been thought through. The host provided drinking water; there were kitchen necessities like spices and oils, laundry detergent. The building is very safe; there is a gym and a pool on the roof. The location is great, too. It exceeded our expectations. The host is very responsive and accommodating.

What could be improved: Absolutely nothing.

  • Luke from United States – 25 February 2024 (10/10)

Great location when traveling with kids – it’s in between two large parks and offers easy access to downtown and Chapultepec park. There is a grocery store a five minute walk down the street. Great doormen in the building, too.
