  The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Located near many great restaurants, transportation and parks. We enjoyed having the 3 terraces and in unit laundry. There are a few things that the host could do to make this good apartment a great one.
  
  What could be improved: Because this apartment doesn't have AC, leaving the terrace doors open is the only way to get fresh air. As two female travelers we didn't feel comfortable leaving them open at night while sleeping so it got quite stuffy in the evening. Additionally the door to the upstairs roof terrace does not lock. I asked if there was a way to secure it internally and was told for insurance reasons that door cannot be locked. There is a security guard at the building entrance, but as a NYer if felt odd to be unable to completely secure the apartment. There is also no safe, so we did not feel comfortable leaving the doors open when out for the day so had to carry around valuables. Another thing that needs to be addressed is the water temperature in the showers. It would go from hot to cold almost immediately. It took us a few days to figure out we just had to leave it running for quite a long time before the water would stay warm. Seemed wasteful.
