Reviews of Hotel El Ejecutivo by Reforma Avenue

  • Moncef from United Kingdom – 28 January 2025 (7/10)

A quiet area, spacious room and clean. A nice breakfast with a very good service. The porter too was very helpful.

What could be improved: The woman at the reception looks upset all the time, for 2 consecutive days, she doesn't even smile, and was a bit rude. I would remove her from the reception.

  • Ortega from United States – 5 December 2024 (9/10)

    Location

    What could be improved: Friendly

  • Connie from United States – 20 August 2024 (8/10)

Excellent location and accessible to restaurants and public transportation. A lot of food trucks/places around it. The room was clean and fresh every day. No noise at all. Very comfy and spacious room.

What could be improved: It would be nice to have access to the outside/front are in the mornings. For some reason they take the chairs inside and we were not able to have breakfast there. But other than that this hotel is nice.

  • Hilda from Dominican Republic – 24 June 2024 (9/10)

The rooms were spacious, newly furnished, and the air conditioning was very good. The bed was comfortable, although the bed frame creaked a bit. There was hot water, and a table with a chair. Armando from the staff was very attentive; the front desk staff were also helpful. We asked for several things and they resolved them right away. When they clean the room they left us 2 free bottles of water. There was good wifi. We ordered the American breakfast at the restaurant and it was very good. The hotel felt secure for us.

What could be improved: We had to request floor cleaning as it seemed they had been doing renovations and it was a bit dusty, but it improved after they cleaned it. Sometimes, the bedding had some hairs that we had to remove. The bathroom light switch was loose, but we informed the front desk and they said it would be repaired. There was a cleaning staff member who knocked on the door at 9 am claiming to be 'checking,' which was uncomfortable.

  • Osorio from Mexico – 15 April 2024 (9/10)

    Close to everything!

What could be improved: The bathroom could use an update. And there is nos coffee pot in the room.

  • Sandy from Peru – 19 March 2024 (9/10)

The staff was great, ready to help at any moment. The room was big enough for 4 people.

What could be improved: There was a noise coming from the phone from timetotime. We didn't figure out what it was… but it was annoying.

  • Eduard from Mexico – 18 December 2023 (9/10)

    Location and convenience, price.

What could be improved: Matress little hard.

  • Karina from United Kingdom – 10 December 2023 (8/10)

Amazing view of Mexico City from my window.

  • Helen from United Kingdom – 30 October 2023 (8/10)

Very friendly staff and modern rooms. The bed was large and the TV had Netflix so we could sign in and watch a movie. It was overall a great option for the price.

What could be improved: The drain in the bathroom had a slight smell.

  • Vidal from Mexico – 14 September 2023 (9/10)

    Wonderful friendly staff!
The room… Surpassed expectations for an older/budget hotel! We were initially offered a recently renovated room- but it smelled like fresh paint and we had to pass. Our “older” room on an upper level had seen better days, but overall was fine, and definitely better than the other nearby hotels in this price category. Love the addition of a table and a couple of fairly comfy chairs, decent closet complete with safe, iron and ironing board. The dresser is big enough to fit 2 rolling carryons and not break our backs leaning over. Huge plus!
VERY comfortable beds, and real mattress protectors- not just the “strap-on corners” protectors!
Very hot water and great pressure.
We stay in this area often, and feel this is a great option.

What could be improved: Pillows very flat- the only thing we didn’t like.
This property advertises cable channels, but is not true. Not even the channels promoted in their in-room QR code. Only a few local channels. Does have streaming services YouTube and Pluto (although very few English options), but you need to use your own accounts for any paid streaming.
Restaurant had staff issues while we were there, and buffet was just okay and very limited. We are fine with the heavier (and more tasty!) Mexican options, but not everyone is.
We did read complaints about the sidewalk- which has nothing to do with the hotel, although it is something to take into consideration for anyone with mobility issues. It’s a bit elevated and broken up, although not exactly dangerous. Just something to keep in mind.
We also read complaints about nearby construction (also nothing the hotel can do about!). While we saw construction next door going on and heard it when we walked out of the hotel, it never bothered us whatsoever inside the hotel. Never heard anything. Didn’t even hear our neighbors (someone mentioned thin walls), although loud neighbors can be an issue in any hotel, anywhere.
