  El servicio es algo extraño, nunca puedes ver a la recepcionista que te atiende, ya que están como en un búnker cerrado y todo se hace por una mini abertura como de caja de banco. Debes dejar tu ine empeñada por los controles de la tele. Hicimos check in en la tarde, la recepcionista en turno dijo que por la madrugada cuando regresábamos solo pidiéramos las llaves de las habitaciones y listo, pero al hacerlo, la otra recepcionista en turno nos llenó de preguntas, cuánto pagamos, cuántas personas, indicándonos cómo debía ser la distribución (que ya conocíamos y habíamos hecho en el check in) en fin, demoramos por eso. La llave de una de las habitaciones no abrió, solo nos mandaron a alguien a abrir pero no la cambiaron, puntos a mejorar creo yo.
  
  What could be improved: El exceso de preguntas y que no nos quería dar las llaves la persona del turno de noche, cuando ya habíamos hecho check in y pagado desde la tarde. La llave que no servía y mucho ruido en la mañana. Serían puntos a mejorar, la estancia por costo cumple con lo indicado.

  What could be improved: We had a problem with the hotel, they came to us at 3am and 6am (by phone the second wake up) started asking us to pay or to leave because in their system our reservation was from the 22nd to the 23rd, that was an error in their system. Because my real reservation by which we checked in was on today from 23rd to 24th and finally after 30 minutes I explained it again to them. That's why I insist for late check out because if that unpleasant disturbance and I have a difficult time falling back asleep and after this it will be hard for me to sleep well at all… And guess what – they replied no, no late check out either. Even they made a horrible mistake disturbing me during paid checked period (booking.com). Never choose that place again! I couldn't finish sleeping 🥱 because of them, got destroyed because of interrupted rest. Hotel de Peñon is not for your rest dear friends, 100% never get a rest there.

  Stopped here for a layover flight because it was cheap. Easy enough to take an uber to and from the airport.
  I liked the decor, was super retro vibes. Definitely a love making hotel if you know what I mean. There was a pamphlet in my room for food, and one next to it for protection. A disco light switch overtop of a platform. Room service. Cheap. Blackout curtains.
  
  What could be improved: TV volume didn't work, paper thin walls, could hear the couple in the room next to me making love in their jacuzzi. You can hear people talking in the hallways. BUT if you turn on brown noise it drowns it all out. There was some sort of crumb or dropping on my bed that I picked off. A little dirty and some of the lights didn't work. But overall a nice, cheap stay.
