Reviews of Hotel Parque México Suites at Condesa

  • Avani from United Kingdom – 8 May 2025 (8/10)

Really great location right next to the park and the beautiful area of condesa, the staff were really lovely and made us feel very welcome, 24 hour service which was helpful as we arrived early in the morning so we could leave our bags in the hotel before check in. The aesthetics of the hotel was also really cool and felt unique

There was no free breakfast. I was dropped off at Nuevo Leon 100 on 04/17 & assigned rm #205. Noise from the water pump kept me awake. I was told by a driver Nuevo Leon 99 was an annex to Hotel Parque Suites at Condessa. On 04/20 I requested to be moved to the main Hotel Parque Mexico Suites Condesa rm 212 near my friend's hotel: Nido Parque, 99 Avenida Mexico. I stayed there til 04/25/25 11am. I was very satisfied with this location but was never given an invoice or receipt upon request. I was told by Juan "all transactions are handled through Booking.com."

What could be improved: The suite at Nuevo Leon 100 was a large 2bdrm, 3 bath, 1 lrg closet w/dressing rm. The dining rm had a nook with microwave oven & dorm fridge. The living rm had a full guest bathrm, TV, coffee table and 3 wing back chairs. I heard banging noise 24/7 from the water pump. I stored the folded robe & slippers in the dressing rm the 1st night, 2 days later they were gone. The street location at Nuevo Leon 100 was dimly lit at night as I walked home from my friend's hotel 4 blocks away. I asked the front desk to ck the toilet in the rm I used (with the dressing rm attached). That bathrm was oddly shaped. The large bdrm w/full bath did not have a closet and I did not use either. Photos to follow.

    Great location

What could be improved: Showers sprayed everywhere

  • Jan from United States – 5 March 2025 (8/10)

The hotel is very clean and the art on the walls is great, the staff are wonderful and the beds are confortable. The location is on a bus y street but our room was in the back so no problem with traffic noise.

What could be improved: This is my second year in a row to book Hotel Parque México along with a taxi from the AirPort. Both times, the taxi takes me to the Parque México hotel that is right across the street from the Park ( the one i thought i was booking!), only to be informed that they have no reservation for me and that i now need to order another taxi to take me to their other hotel 3 blocks away. Where I do have a room! Last year, they were able to find me a room but this year, arribista with my 95 year old mother after 11 pm we were left to sit outside trying to get an Uber.

I generally enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is located inside a historic building, but everything inside has been beautifully renovated. The hotel’s lobby is stunning! I loved its design, especially the small details like fun pictures on the walls, colorful sofas/chairs, and pretty lamps. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming, and I must also mention the professional housekeepers who did a great job keeping my room and the entire hotel spotless. I stayed in Room #203 on the second floor, and I loved it a lot. The room was huge, almost like a 1-bedroom apartment, with a hallway, a living room, a bedroom, and a toilet. My room’s design was gorgeous, just like the hotel lobby. I believe the room was recently renovated because I could still smell fresh wood and paint. All the furniture was in excellent condition. The bedroom was separated by a door with its own key, and there was a little closet section in the bedroom as well. The King-size bed was incredibly comfortable, I slept like a baby! The mattress, pillows, and blanket were soft and luxurious. The living room area had a cozy sofa and chairs, making it a perfect spot to hang out and relax. The hallway section of my room had a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, which were a big plus. My room was also quiet, and I felt completely chilled and relaxed throughout my stay. Another highlight was the hotel’s location in La Condesa – a beautiful, clean, and safe area of Mexico City. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants near the hotel. An additional perk was that the hotel allowed me to check out at 2 p.m. with no extra charge. As for the nightly rate, I paid $77, which I found reasonable. My apartment-sized, beautifully renovated room was totally worth it!

What could be improved: The biggest downside of my stay was the very small bathroom. The shower stall was tiny and uncomfortable, it barely fit me. Worse, the shower stall was broken. The doors didn’t close properly, water leaked through gaps, and half of the bathroom floor was flooded after every shower. The shower head was old and broken, spraying water unevenly everywhere. The faucet handles didn’t work properly either, making it impossible to set a steady warm water temperature. The water was either too hot or cold, which was incredibly frustrating. The sink faucet had the similar issues – low water pressure and difficulty getting a warm temperature. On top of that, the sink faucet was old and outdated as well. The bathroom amenities were of poor quality, felt cheap, and smelled bad. The hairdryer was small and outdated. The bathroom overall was a disaster and desperately needs a complete update and repair as soon as possible! Another issue with the room was that the windows couldn’t be opened – they were glued shut. They were also made of colorful mosaic glass, so it was impossible to see outside. As a result, there was no natural daylight in the room, and I had to keep the lights on all the time. Unfortunately, the room’s lighting wasn’t bright enough either, which made the space feel dim. The room key situation was another downside. I was given two metal keys attached to a large, heavy wooden keychain. There is a strict rule that you must hand over the key to the front desk whenever you leave the hotel. They even charge a $50 fine (if I remember the amount correctly) if you take the key with you, as stated in the document you sign during check-in. I found this rule weird, silly, and unnecessary. The hotel’s Wi-Fi was mostly slow during my stay and occasionally disappeared completely. I had to rely on my roaming data, which, by the way, was much faster than the hotel’s Wi-Fi. The last downside was that the hotel’s entrance door was always locked.

    Comfortable,clean and has character.

  • Carlos from United States – 21 October 2024 (7/10)

The bed was really comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly

What could be improved: The room bathroom leaked and the floor would get all wet after showering. One of the days, there was a live music band and it was noisy until like 11pm

  • Arnaud from Mexico – 3 October 2024 (9/10)

Special charm of the place, very unique atmosphere

  • George from United States – 2 September 2024 (9/10)

Staff upgraded our room to a larger one for free. They were very kind and accomodating!

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Jen from United States – 22 May 2024 (9/10)

Really cute boutique hotel. We had spacious suite. The bed was very comfortable, it was clean, and the staff was wonderful. It was just around the corner from a busy part of the park so we enjoyed the proximity of being near things without the noise that often goes with it.
