  Our recent stay at Pug Seal Edgar Allan Poe in Mexico City was nothing short of magical, a true testament to refined hospitality and thoughtful design. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of serene elegance.
  
  Our Executive Suite was a dream. Bathed in natural light, the room offered breathtaking views that felt like a living painting. The mornings were particularly special, with the sweet melodies of singing birds serenading us outside our windows – a perfect, tranquil start to each day. The spaciousness and tasteful decor of the suite created a luxurious yet comfortable haven.
  
  Speaking of mornings, the fresh juices and vibrant fruits served were a delightful and healthy indulgence. It was clear that quality and care were paramount. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful outdoor sitting areas, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the charming ambiance of the property.   Beautiful suite in the new part of the building. Loved the honour bar and breakfast was excellent. Short walk to great restaurants and watering holes. Very friendly staff as well.
  
  What could be improved: There.was a very loud mechanical room on the other side of the wall that woke us up at night. I hope they looked into the issue as thenroom was spectacular.

  After switching last minute from a subpar Airbnb in Roma Norte this place was like a breath of fresh air! Super clean. Super comfy. Super cool. And close to lots of good food and shopping. And the staff were great!
  
  What could be improved: The wait was a bit long at breakfast. One day I took breakfast early and it was quick. Another day I guess I hit the rush, cuz it took longer than I had hoped. That being said, I would absolutely stay there again.

  This is a beautiful unique hotel, a renovated mansion in the lovely neighborhood of Polanco. Our suite on the top floor was huge and sunny, super comfortable with historical details like decorative ceiling moldings. Two bathrooms! We enjoyed the robes and slippers, all with a cute logo of the hotel. The ground floor had a lounge area with generous snacks provided daily like fresh juice, sweet rolls, fruit, and peanuts. We also enjoyed the bicycles, no extra charge, which we rode to beautiful Chapultepec park, 10 min away. The breakfasts were exceptional, a generous selection on the menu with fresh juices, and coffee selections. Our waiter Johnny was so friendly and helpful, Israel was always helpful too and Karen the concierge was lovely.
  
  What could be improved: The overall ceiling lighting in our suite was dim in the main room and especially the bathroom, and it would have been better to have some standing lamps also. Also the fabulous double shower was lousy in that the pressure went up and down and even completely off at times. We only used the shower in the second bathroom which was excellent. The door to our suite was sticky and required frustrating maneuvering to get it to lock.
