Here’s what I love about where Socrates 378 is positioned — you’re in Polanco, which means you’re surrounded by some of the city’s best restaurants and galleries, but you’re not drowning in tourist crowds. I mean, you can walk to Parque Lincoln in about ten minutes, and the Antara shopping center is close enough if you need anything. The free private parking is actually a huge deal here because, well, anyone who’s tried to park in this part of Mexico City knows what a nightmare it can be. Recent guests have been rating the location a 9.6, and after spending a few days exploring from this base, I totally get why.

The Rooms

My room had this clean, modern aesthetic that felt sophisticated without being cold. The bed was genuinely comfortable — I’m talking about the kind of sleep where you wake up actually refreshed, not just less tired. What struck me most was the attention to small details: proper lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and a bathroom that felt spacious even though the room itself wasn’t massive. The windows let in great natural light during the day, and the neighborhood is quiet enough that I never had issues with street noise, even with the windows cracked open.

There’s no flashy spa or rooftop pool, but what they do have works perfectly. The common areas feel comfortable without being overly designed, and there’s reliable WiFi throughout the property, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but sometimes still is in Mexico City.

  What could be improved: Is a bit more old fashion looking than the photos,
  The livingroom was super uncomfortable, after long walks resting there wasn't the best,
  We didn't have the basic stuff like washing up liquid(it was almost finished), napkins, toilet paper. No drinking water!

  What could be improved: Dirty; old and beat up; terrible kitchen (strong gas odor, cheap utensils that cut your lips, no kettle to boil water, no basic things, like sugar, oil, kitchen towels; unbelievably noisy inside out.

  La ubicación es increible, el departamento está super bonito y muy bien equipado, agua caliente en las regaderas y había cafe y te como cortesía en la cocina, el departamentp tiene la estación de metro cerca.
