The area feels safe to wander around, even in the evenings. Couples seem to particularly love it here — I can see why, since there’s something romantic about those tree-lined streets and colonial architecture.

Your Room and Space

The room I stayed in had this modern-meets-Mexican aesthetic that didn’t feel forced or touristy. The bed was comfortable, and I mean actually comfortable — not just hotel-marketing comfortable. What impressed me was the attention to practical details: good water pressure, reliable WiFi, and blackout curtains that actually block light. The space feels more like a well-designed apartment than a standard hotel room, which makes sense given the property’s boutique nature.

Neighborhood Life

One thing you should know — this isn’t the Mexico City where you’ll find flashy rooftop bars or high-end shopping. Coyoacán moves at a different pace, which is exactly why it works so well. There’s a great little restaurant called Los Danzantes just a few blocks away where locals go for mole, and the Sunday market in the main plaza is worth planning your stay around. The metro isn’t right outside your door, but honestly, you’ll probably want to take Ubers anyway since they’re so affordable here.

Why Guests Love It

What sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both authentic and comfortable without trying too hard. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood — they’ll point you toward the good taco stands and tell you which museums are worth your time. Recent guests have been rating the location really highly, and I get it. You’re close enough to central Mexico City when you want the big-city experience, but you can retreat to this quieter, more cultural side when you need a break. It’s the kind of place where you’ll actually want to spend time in your room and the surrounding area, rather than just using it as a place to sleep between tourist attractions.

  La ubicación es excelente, en una zona tranquila lejos del bullicio de la gente y a dos cuadras del centro de Coyoacán, la casa es muy espaciosa, cómoda y limpia, los anfitriones siempre estuvieron atentos para contestar cualquier duda..

  The house is big with different sections that were perfect for our bachelorette weekend. The rooms were HUGE with comfy queen/king beds – can comfortably fit 12 people (2 per bed). The location is also very convenient – walking distance to Coyocan square/park, cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops. LOVED IT! Christian was very tentative and accommodating. I would definitely book this house again if I were to go with a large group.
  
  What could be improved: The bathrooms were not modern (personal preference) & took a little long to get hot water. Other than that, no complaints!

  Está muy bien ubicado , muy céntrico a metros de Plaza Jardín Hidalgo y del museo de Frida Khalo, así que puedes ir caminando a todas partes. Tiene una arquitectura súper bonita y un patio histórico que le dan un toque especial. Además, cuenta con billar y chimenea, Y lo mejor de todo, está en una zona muy segura.
  
  What could be improved: Me hubiera gustado tener un desayuno pero ya me comentaron los propietarios que lo estaban trabajando para poder hacerlo realidad. Por cierto, ellos son muy amenos y amables con todo.

  Increíble lugar, fui con mi novia y unos amigos a pasar una noche de relax y conocer Coyoacan y no pude elegir mejor !
  
  La casa es espectacular, comodidad al máximo, todo nuevo y muy bien ubicada, me encantaron los dueños que me dieron tips de sitios para comer, tours para hacer por Coyoacan y muy amables en todo momento.

  Hemos estado en Mexico para un congreso de turismo por lo que nos hemos hospedado 5 compañeros y la verdad ha sido todo perfecto. Casa increíblemente bonita y bien mantenida, con muchísimo encanto y detalles en todas las esquinas.
  Para mi es muy importante la limpieza de las camas, toallas, cuartos de baño, cocina y la verdad estaba todo impoluto. Cabe destacar lo que disfrutamos el billar.
  Nos ayudaron con recomendaciones para desayunar y cenar. Lo recomiendo a todo el mundo, un lugar increíble.

  ¡Espectacular! Nos hemos hospedado dos familias completas que estamos recorriendo México por vacaciones y podemos decir que ha sido el mejor alojamiento en el que estamos estado nunca. Estaba totalmente nuevo y super equipado, nuestros hijos se lo han pasado en grande con el billar y el patio. Hemos hecho una fotos muy bonitas (se nota que ha sido decorado y reformado por un estudio de arquitectura) tiene un gusto increíble toda la decoración. Algo importante es que nos ha parecido muy seguro, tanto la calle como la zona que hemos podido ir andando a museos y restaurantes. Cabe destacar lo limpio que estaba todo, sábanas, toallas y amenities. Se lo recomiendo a cualquier grupo. ¡Esperamos volver pronto!
