We visit Mexico frequently and Mexico City every few years. This is one of the best hotel stays we have had. Perfect location for staying downtown – may be the quietest room in Mexico. Lovely property, historic with modern touches, spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast with sweet touches on traditional Mexican favorites. Staff were charming and helpful. Nice to stay in a place that feels like Mexico, not a gray bland hotel room that could be anywhere in the world. Very much look forward to staying here again!

Lovely hotel with large apartment-like suites. The staff was delightful and so helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel.
What could be improved: Only thing is the construction on the street in front of the hotel which is not the hotel’s fault.Patricia from Belgium – 24 April 2024 (10/10)
Amazing hotel with everything you could wish for – beautiful and thoughtfully decorated suite (and very large!), historical hotel area and rooftop terrace (with pictures about the building’s and family history), thoughtful details like complementary bottled and filtered water, fresh milk to make coffee in the room…
All the hotel team are wonderful – from Alex the concierge, to the 24h security, and the restaurant team. Breakfast is very tasty and varied. Thank you!

The property is exceptional. The building itself is amazing and the room are gorgeous. The rooftop has a great view and is very comfortable. Breakfast was changing everyday but Al way great. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Would 100% recommend and go back.

What a wonderful place to stay! The building is gorgeous with very spacious common areas. The welcome from Elizabeth was very friendly and efficient. The bedroom was out of this world! We had a suite and it had three rooms (dining, sitting, bedroom) plus a kitchenette and bathroom. There was a small balcony facing the interior, very well lit courtyard (glass ceiling so could see sky). The facilities were excellent. Complimentary drinks stocked in the fridge were a generous bonus. Excellent breakfast. We did not get a chance to have dinner here.
What could be improved: The only caveat is that though the hotel is well located for all the sights in the historical centre, the street that it is on seemed a little unsafe after dark (although nothing adverse happened)
