Apartamentos La Condesa Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Apartamentos La Condesa, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical hotel setup — and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work so well. The four-star property sits right on Avenida Baja California, which puts you smack in the middle of one of Mexico City’s most vibrant neighborhoods. I mean, when couples consistently rate the location 8.5 out of 10, you know you’re onto something special. The building itself has that refined Mexico City charm without trying too hard, and there’s something refreshing about having actual apartment-style accommodations in such a prime spot.
The Condesa Advantage
You know what really sets this place apart? The location is absolutely unbeatable — recent guests have rated it 8.8, and after spending time in the area, I completely understand why. You’re literally steps away from Parque México and all those tree-lined streets that make Condesa so famous. The neighborhood has this perfect mix of local cafés, art galleries, and restaurants that haven’t been completely overtaken by tourists yet. Plus, having free private parking on-site is honestly a game-changer in Mexico City — anyone who’s tried to park in this area will tell you that’s worth its weight in gold.
The Apartment Experience
The accommodations here feel more like staying in a well-appointed city apartment than a traditional hotel room, which I actually prefer when I’m in Mexico City for more than a couple nights. You get proper space to spread out, and the setup works particularly well if you’re traveling as a couple — there’s room to actually live a bit rather than just crash between sightseeing sessions. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between comfortable and stylish, with local touches that remind you where you are without being overly themed.
Neighborhood Life
What I love about staying at Apartamentos La Condesa is how quickly you feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist. Step outside and you’re immediately part of the Condesa rhythm — morning joggers heading to the park, neighbors walking their dogs, that perfect café culture that makes this neighborhood so special. The area comes alive differently throughout the day, from quiet mornings to buzzing evenings when the restaurants and bars fill up with a mix of locals and visitors who’ve discovered this gem of a district.
Why Guests Love It
The combination of authentic neighborhood living with upscale comfort is really what makes this place special. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble — you’re actually experiencing Mexico City the way it’s meant to be experienced, with Condesa as your home base. The fact that you can park easily, walk to incredible food and culture, and come back to a space that feels like your own temporary Mexico City apartment? That’s exactly why this place consistently earns such high ratings from guests who know what they’re looking for in a city stay.

Reviews of Apartamentos La Condesa
Tin from Mexico – 24 March 2025 (9/10)
It was a great experience, very easy to get the keys, the spare keys were very accessible and easy to use. No issues whatsoever.
What could be improved: One of the lamps did not work, it was not bad at all, everything else was spotless, it was the only minor issue.Maelle from France – 10 March 2025 (7/10)
Well located appartment with a self check in and a doorman who was really nice and available to keep our luggage after checkout.
What could be improved: Appartment overall well equipped though the painting seems a bit old and not completely cleaned. Some basic equipment was missing: bath mat,… WiFi not always working. No possibility to have a late checkout.
One of the bedroom is on the main street so very noisy.Mr from Canada – 13 December 2024 (8/10)
The apartment was perfect and large enough for two people, Great location.
What could be improved: The key system needs to be changed, i had lot of trouble first day being locked out as the keys would not work. They really need to go to a card system as rest of the world.Yasmin from United States – 12 July 2024 (7/10)
Pros: excellent location, modern building, beautiful 2 bedroom apartment, working elevator, front desk, lots of light, comfortable beds, decent space for 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teens), washer/dryer, very lovely front desk staff
What could be improved: Cons: poorly responsive arrivals team/not well stocked especially for a family of 4 for 5 nights/6 days. We had an early arrival and had to wait on the street and finally call using roaming despite requesting someone be there to let us in at 5am. Also, we wanted to travel light / not check bags, and it said toiletries provided but this was inaccurate. There was a tiny bottle of shampoo (no soap, conditioner, lotion) and we ran out of toilet paper on day 2 so had to purchase it all ourselves after repeated requests and no provision. No kettle, extra trash bags etc etc. Also in addition to traffic noise which is significant because of the central location (which we knew about and were prepared for), there was construction going on both in neighboring apartments and buildings so it was very loud. Finally it wasn't sparkling clean – we rewashed all our towels to be safe.
I think with a little more effort in customer service and communication this would be an amazing stay but for now I think there are lots of other options close by that might offer a better experience and equal value for money.Leonardo from Israel – 24 June 2024 (9/10)
The property is well located in the charming Condesa neighborhood. Close to many small cafes and restaurants, Mexico Park, and to the metro station. The staff is thoughtful and helpful.
What could be improved: The property lacks sound isolation and you can hear everything the neighbors do as well as the CDMX’s staff sweeping the sidewalk early on the morning. There was a construction happening during the night for a few days and it was impossible to sleep.Bgoz from United States – 13 June 2024 (8/10)
Nice apartment, spacious, clean. All necessities available. Great location . Comfortable beds, kitchen, washer and dryer. Easy access. Great location.
What could be improved: The apartment was Very hot and on a noisy street, even at night. So even though you could open the windows to cool it off, when we did open the windows, it felt like you were right outside on the street with all the noise from the cars, which made it difficult to sleep with the windows open.Natalia from United States – 21 May 2024 (9/10)
Great place, clean and in a perfect location
Agata from Poland – 5 February 2024 (7/10)
Nice welcoming, we could check in earlier. Fantastic district, it was very safe
What could be improved: It was hard to sleep in the room next to the main street due to horrible noise.Jeet from United States – 14 December 2023 (9/10)
Very conveniently located
What could be improved: One of the rooms has street noise issuesMarie from United States – 16 October 2023 (9/10)
Extremely clean and spacious.
What could be improved: Lot of noise coming from the street.
