This hotel is a gem. We liked everything about it. The location, on a quiet street just a short walk from the busy central squares of Coyoacán; the privacy and calm of the interior patio and garden where a delicious full breakfast was served; the room which was one of the nicest, most comfortable rooms we have ever stayed in; and the friendly accommodating staff who
kindly let us leave our luggage there all afternoon after we checked out so we could enjoy the entire day in Coyoacán. We’ll be back.
What could be improved: The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to leave this beautiful property.Daniel from United States – 20 May 2025 (9/10)
Great location and great service
What could be improved: Not a thingRobb from United States – 4 May 2025 (10/10)
This was not our first visit at Casa Tuna. We have friends that have also come here during their visit at our recommendation, and have enjoyed it as well. Always friendly and helpful staff. Clean environment. Great location for our needs while visiting local friends and family.
What could be improved: Wifi is hit or miss depending on room or area of facility you are in. That can be a bit frustrating if you are trying to get anything on your laptop or even phone done.Naomi from United Kingdom – 27 April 2025 (10/10)
Loved our stay here. Great location, beautiful courtyard and friendly staff. Would recommend having the breakfast there at least once!

We were at Casa Tuna for 6 nights, and only wish we could have stayed longer. It was such a lovely hotel, with the most comfortable bed (both my husband and I have some back issues), a beautiful courtyard, and sweet rooftop deck.
What could be improved: We loved everything. The location, in Coyoacan, was perfect: walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, markets, and the main square/park. The morning breakfast was wonderful (and cheap!). The staff was kind and helpful.Rodger from Australia – 21 April 2025 (8/10)
We loved the courtyard for breakfast and an aroma scent at night, and the upstairs balcony for relaxing outdoors. Great breakfast!
What could be improved: Semi Luke warm showers.Jennifer from United States – 19 April 2025 (9/10)
The staff, room, courtyard and breakfast were all great. Location is excellent.
What could be improved: It was challenging to get hot water for a shower but this seems to be common in Mexico.Rasa from Norway – 18 April 2025 (9/10)
A small oasis away from the bustle and hustle of Mexico City! It was quiet, clean, and very relaxing to be there. The rooms were spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable. Staff was kind and lovely.
What could be improved: Water pressure was a little weak, but nothing to complain about!Lee from United States – 13 April 2025 (9/10)
Staff was wonderful. Beautiful quiet place to stay. The only complaint was shower – really need a handheld sprayer as the overhead is huge but water pressure was low.
Martha from United States – 12 April 2025 (10/10)
Accommodations were very nice. Location was quiet but close to all the action. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. I am so thankful for how accommodating they were to my crazy arrival and departure times. I felt very well taken care of.
