Cozy Flat Condesa Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Cozy Flat Condesa on Zamora Street, you immediately get that “this is where locals actually live” feeling — and I mean that in the best possible way. This three-star spot doesn’t try to be something it’s not, which honestly makes it more charming. The building fits right into the neighborhood’s relaxed vibe, and you can tell from the moment you arrive that you’re staying somewhere authentic rather than touristy.
The Condesa Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re right in the heart of Mexico City’s most walkable neighborhood, but on a quieter residential street that actually lets you sleep at night. Condesa is where you want to be if you’re planning to explore on foot, with Parque México just a few blocks away and some of the city’s best cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance. The tree-lined streets here have this European feel that’s completely different from other parts of the city, and honestly, couples seem to get it — they consistently rate this area around 9.0, which makes total sense when you’re strolling around together in the evenings.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup works really well if you want more than just a standard hotel room experience. You get your own space to spread out, and having a kitchen means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and actually cook something if you want to. The place lives up to its “cozy” name — it’s not huge, but everything feels thoughtfully arranged. What struck me most was how clean and well-maintained everything was, which isn’t always a given with apartment-style accommodations.
Neighborhood Life
One thing you should know about staying here — you’re going to want to spend time just wandering the streets. Condesa has this amazing café culture where people actually sit and read books (imagine that), and the weekend markets are fantastic for picking up everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts. The area feels safe for walking around, even in the evenings, and there’s always something happening in the parks. You know what’s nice? You can actually get a sense of how Mexico City residents live their daily lives, rather than just seeing the tourist highlights.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.2 rating isn’t just a number — it reflects what happens when a place gets the basics right and adds some genuine character on top. The location consistently impresses people because it strikes that perfect balance between being central and being livable. You’re not dealing with constant noise or crowds, but you can walk to dinner, grab morning coffee, and explore the city without needing taxis everywhere. For the price point of a three-star place, you’re getting an experience that feels much more personal and authentic than what you’d find in a standard hotel, plus you have the freedom that comes with having your own space and parking if you need it.

Really nice property, good location and had been cleaned just before
Gunnar from United States – 18 March 2025 (9/10)
The location was excellent and the apartment was clean and comfortable. The host communicated instructions to enter the property well, and kept us informed when a minor water outage occurred in the neighborhood (typical of CDMX). Though we did not use the kitchen much, utensils, appliances, and cookware were provided for meals in the apartment. Though there was no air conditioning, the apartment was comfortable even during the warmest part of the day.
What could be improved: The beds and couch could have been more comfortable, but for the value they were more than enough for us.Keith from United Kingdom – 23 February 2025 (10/10)
Great location.

Everything – responsive owner on messages – flat is super located – very very quiet at night – hot water and good pressure
Apartment is very tastefully decorated with lots of nice lighting – that's very rare in Mexico!
Good kitchen with fridge and ice box
Bed was comfy and not hard
Location is great to explore Condesa & Roma Norte by foot – metro only 10 minutes away if you want to go further
What could be improved: It was a little chilly in the evening – there is no Central heating and I couldn't see any extra heat source (altho the owner may be happy to supply something – I didn't ask) – something you may want to consider if you are coming at a colder time of yearSiala from United Kingdom – 11 February 2025 (8/10)
I was able to drop my luggage really early and then also check in earlier too which was super helpful. The location is good, you can walk to a lot of places and then uber to anywhere a bit further away (it’s cheap to Uber). The kitchenette has enough for you to be able to cook basic meals and the fridge is good.
Shower was nice and hot.
It’s not super fancy, I didn’t really use it to hang out much, it was more of a base while I did other things.
What could be improved: It was cold as there’s no heating, but I was there the end of January so this wouldn’t be a problem most of the year.
The fitted sheet was a little small for the bed and kept slipping off.Jas from Mexico – 26 September 2024 (10/10)
The location was very good, close to many places at walking distance. We had everything we needed in the apartment. Also, the host was very attentive and gave us exact indications. The decor was a nice touch as well.
What could be improved: The apartment felt a little stuffy when we first arrived but I guess it was because it had been raining all week.Jade from Belgium – 2 May 2024 (8/10)
a lovely little flat in a perfect location. Carlos is an amazing host, we felt very well taken care of. and cute deco!it’s also really convenient to have a kitchen to have an early breakfast as things open late in the city.
What could be improved: the beds weren’t the most comfortable. especially the sofa bed wasn’t fit for sleeping more than one or two nights, may be best for a couple rather than a family. we stayed for a week in April and it was over 30degrees daily, so the flat could get quite hot, a fan or two would have been great.Fairgray from Australia – 25 February 2024 (10/10)
Excellent location right in the heart of Condensa and only a short walk to Chaultupec park, museums, playgrounds and restaurants. The apartment itself is super comfortable, clean and has all the amenities you need as a family. Especially if you want to do some cooking. Great host, gave us lots of recommendations for the area and instructions to make our stay comfortable.
What could be improved: Nothing! We loved our stay.Arlena from France – 26 September 2023 (10/10)
Great location. Very responsive and helpful owner. The apartment was clean and had everything that you could need.
What could be improved: The couch was a bit small for 2 people but it seems that it's a standard size in Mexico.Sabrina from Canada – 6 July 2023 (10/10)
Great location.
All the amenities.
Plenty of space.
