Location & Neighborhood

Coyoacán is honestly one of those neighborhoods that makes you fall in love with Mexico City all over again. I mean, you’re walking distance from Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul, the cobblestone streets around Plaza Hidalgo, and some of the best street food you’ll find anywhere in the city. What really struck me is how couples seem to gravitate toward this area — and I get it. There’s something romantic about wandering through the weekend markets together or grabbing coffee at one of the tiny cafés tucked into colonial buildings. The fact that recent guests rated the location 9.8 doesn’t surprise me at all.

The Space

The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place — in the best possible way. You get a complete setup with your own kitchen, which honestly saves you a fortune when you’re traveling in Mexico City for more than a few days. I loved being able to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and actually cook something instead of eating out every single meal. The space is clean and functional, and while it’s not fancy, it has everything you actually need. Plus, there’s something satisfying about having your own space to spread out after long days exploring the city.

Here’s what I really appreciated — the free private parking on site. If you’ve ever tried to park in Mexico City, you know this is basically like finding gold. Most places in Coyoacán either don’t have parking at all or charge you an arm and a leg for it. Being able to just pull up and park without worrying about street parking or expensive lots takes a huge stress off your trip. It’s one of those practical details that makes a real difference, especially if you’re planning day trips outside the city or just want the freedom of having a car.

  El departamento está precioso, muy cómo y hogareño tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar para tu estancia, en tiempo de frío se siente mucho pero tienen calefactor.
