Reviews of Ibis Mexico Alameda
Kido from Japan – 25 June 2024 (7/10)
The hotel is in a very good location in Mexico City. Compared to other hotels in the region, it was one of the most affordable I found. The staff is super nice, but keep in mind that not everyone speaks English. The room was more spacious than I was expecting and overall comfy. It was clean but I need to say the bathroom could use a little bit more of attention (there was mold on the walls of the shower, but nothing too bad). Breakfast is simple but it has plenty of fruits, for which I was super grateful as my stomach suffered a bit with the spices in the Mexican food. Also, they have water filters around the hotel, so you don't need to bother buying drinkable water (now, I cannot guarantee that the filters are properly maintained, so if you are really worried, better buy bottled water to drink).
What could be improved: Only two negative things: My room was the last one in the corridor and the wifi only worked if I stayed near the door room (prob cause it was closer to the wifi router). Also, the bathroom was not 100% clean (as I mentioned above, I saw mold in the walls of the shower area).Kaitlyn from United States – 8 April 2024 (9/10)
Beautiful lobby/dining room/courtyard. Bathroom very cool & modern.
The staff was very friendly & accommodating. Special thanks to Jose Luis & also the evening concierge for accompanying me on the elevator many times as I have a fear of being stuck in an elevator.
What could be improved: Glass water bottles are a good idea, but I wish they were cleaned, refilled, and sealed with tape by hotel staff before being placed back in the room. I had stomach problems all week. Perhaps the guest before me refilled with sink water.Orbelin from Mexico – 18 March 2024 (9/10)
