Reviews of Maison México Roma
Onsirin from United States – 29 May 2025 (9/10)
The room was spacious, spotless, and bathed in beautiful natural light from the large windows. I loved the sleek, modern interior design. The hotel itself is stunning— blending historic charm with contemporary style, from its exterior to the common areas. The location was perfect, just steps from the vibrant Roma Norte neighborhood. Most of the staff were warm and helpful.
What could be improved: The included breakfast was underwhelming—just fruit, yogurt, and a drink (coffee or tea), with no hot options, not even something simple like eggs and toast. I didn’t have any expectations, but I still expected a bit more from a 4- or 5-star hotel.Gabriel from United States – 29 March 2025 (8/10)
Location was fantastic. In walking distance to many nice restaurants in Roma Norte. Room and bathroom were new, clean, stylish and spacious.
What could be improved: While staff was friendly and attentive, service at breakfast was slow and disorganized. Rooftop restaurant was hit or miss.Isabel from United States – 20 March 2025 (9/10)
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The property was spacious clean with a great aesthetic.
What could be improved: There was a private event on the rooftop and guest were not allowed to enjoy the sunset.Lynda from France – 15 February 2025 (7/10)
It is a beautiful modern hotel in a colonial building- very handsome mix of historic architecture and modern touch. It is in a neighborhood with tons of restaurants and bars and pretty close to some major sites. The rooms are nice and big.
What could be improved: A couple of bothersome things based on a high price point @400usd per night. There is a coffee machine in the room but it makes poor quality coffee. There is no hair conditioner in the bathroom. The breakfast is in a nice rooftop but you get a coffee, small bit of fruit, juice and 1 piece if toasted. Again at this price point you would expect different sorts of bread or eggs or something else.Katherine from United States – 28 January 2025 (8/10)
Staff was great. Friendly and helpful. Bartenders Allen and Isaac were great. Front desk and servers and housekeeping very friendly. The design is very beautiful.
What could be improved: Room was so small. No place to open suitcases. No desk to work at. Mini fridge under desk so you couldn’t sit there. Lobby was not set up for hanging out or working either.
Breakfast was included but was super skimpy. We went there 2 of the 6 days we were there. Freezing cold on the roof for a slice of toast and 1/4 cup of yogurt.Deb from Canada – 30 December 2024 (7/10)
Location and amenities were very good.
Beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was very nice and the staff very friendly.
What could be improved: Unfortunately, our 23 year old daughter was locked out of the hotel at 3AM and had to wait an hour for someone to come let her in. If you plan to go out at late at night make sure to let the hotel know in advance. Maybe that would have helped alert them.Sara from Austria – 28 November 2024 (9/10)
Perfectly located in Condesa, high level of security and comfort, beautiful rooftop terrace, nice bar, rooms are clean and very stylish, staff was super friendly9
What could be improved: unfortunately we had no eletricity for one day but they really tried to fix it and were very nice. The continental breakfast included was okay but the tea came cold and the bread was hardJocelyn from Australia – 18 November 2024 (9/10)
Contemporary architecture and decor also sensitive to the heritage of the older building. A haven from the busy city. Very clean, lovely staff. Restaurants serve contemporary and delicious dishes. Sunset from rooftop is excellent in Autumn.
What could be improved: It would be useful to receive an information booklet on arrival about the hotel’s facilities and services – for English speakers.Daryl from Canada – 10 November 2024 (8/10)
Comfy bed
Druan from United Kingdom – 3 October 2024 (9/10)
The hotel was well located in Roma, and walking distance to many of the restaurants and bars in the area.
The bed was extremely comfortable.
What could be improved: The lighting in the room was terrible. Very dark and not enough lights, even with all the lights on, you couldn't read a book or magazine on the bed. Lighting is very much style over function.
The bathroom was good, but the toilet is visible from the bed and has no privacy. Very weird.
