The metro is literally a few minutes away, and you’ve got cafes, taquerias, and shops scattered around the neighborhood. Couples especially seem to love it here — I can see why, since you can actually explore the city on foot instead of being stuck in some tourist bubble. The area feels safe during the day, and there’s always people around in the evenings.

The Loft Experience

The room — well, they call them lofts and they’re not kidding around. Mine had high ceilings and these big windows that let in tons of natural light. The design is minimalist but not stark, with dark wood accents and modern fixtures that actually function properly. There’s a small seating area that’s perfect for planning your day or just relaxing with a coffee. The bed was comfortable enough, though the pillows were a bit firm for my taste. What I really appreciated was the attention to details — good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets, and a decent-sized desk if you need to get work done.

Practical Matters

The wifi works well throughout the building, which isn’t always a given in Mexico City hotels. Housekeeping comes daily and they’re thorough without being intrusive. There’s no restaurant on-site, but honestly, you don’t need one with all the food options in the neighborhood. The front desk staff speaks English and Spanish, and they’re genuinely helpful with directions and recommendations. I had a question about getting to the airport and they printed out detailed instructions with metro connections — that kind of service you remember.

Look, this isn’t a place with a rooftop pool or fancy amenities, but it delivers on what matters most — location, cleanliness, and value.   I returned to NIU Modern & Centric Lofts Narvarte because it consistently delivers first-class accommodations: pristine rooms, a prime location, and excellent security. As always, the staff went above and beyond—they kindly stored my luggage, offered helpful local tips, and ensured a seamless check-in. Their warmth and professionalism truly shine in person.
  
  What could be improved: That said, I want to share constructive feedback to help future guests (and the team) prepare: communication inconsistencies occasionally impacted my stay. For example, when I needed to extend my trip for work, I messaged them on Friday but didn’t receive a reply until Monday, leaving me in limbo about booking logistics. The front desk staff—while empathetic—shared that they, too, were awaiting updates for guest requests, suggesting internal coordination gaps.
  
  This mirrors an issue from my stay six months ago, where I confirmed working Wi-Fi pre-arrival but discovered it was down due to maintenance. As a remote worker, this created unexpected costs for a personal hotspot. While these hiccups didn’t overshadow the property’s many strengths, clearer communication (especially for non-tourist stays) would elevate the experience.
  
  Final thoughts: NIU Narvarte remains a top choice for comfort and convenience. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will return, but I urge the team to streamline communication channels to match their otherwise stellar service.

  NIU offers spacious rooms with a kitchen, laundry service and excellent staff at an affordable price. The neighborhood has everything you need for restaurants, convenience stores, banking transportation etc.

  They have 24-hour security / front desk staff. So, collecting the keys is easy. There's a café downstairs and an Oxxo around the corner. Easy to move around to different parts of the city, the bedroom was quiet and spacious; the room had a good-sized TV, a fridge, and a microwave.
  
  What could be improved: The toilet was small, a bit dark, and had no window.

  Its spacious and very clean. The wifi is not the strongest but it’s good for work and it’s available everywhere in the building including the roof, the coworking room and the cafe. We had no issues working and making videocalls.
  The cafe is nice with friendly staff a little pricy for cdmx but good quality.
  The bed is very comfortable and the facilities nice and enough.
  The shared area are nice and good for working.
  People are usually quiet other than for few exceptions where we were kept up most of the night.
  The people at reception are very friendly!
  
  What could be improved: You can hear the neighbors walking and if they play music next door its loud. It’s not very well insulated.
  One man specifically makes a lot of noise at night. On our first night he talked loud in the corridors shouting and screaming and slamming doors the entire night from his apartment as well. We could hear everything. He started at about 1am and didnt stop until late the day after so we didn’t sleep on the first night and were exhausted the following day which is not ideal as we were working. Luckily this didnt happen again until our last night when someone was whistling in the corridors and slamming doors from midnight onwards.
  Cmdx is usually noisy but this was a bit over the top especially considering it was just one man and the space is meant to be a coworking and not a party place. The other 5 night out of 7 we slept well and everyone was very considerate and quiet.

  Everything. But the room had a cup on the sink and the basket of the toilet paper was half full from other’s people trash.

  The room was enormous, the bed and pillows very comfortable. The cafe in the lobby was very convenient (although randomly closed on a sunday while I was there). The hosts were very friendly, and went out of their way to help – even while speaking a different language. One female host was rather rude/dismissive, although I only dealt with her once.
  
  What could be improved: I wish there had been a heater available as two of the days I stayed there when it had rained, the temperature was extremely cold. I requested an extra blanket which helped with sleeping, but it was very uncomfortable to be in the room otherwise, and I couldn't walk on the floors that didn't have a rug with bare feet – they were freezing cold. Other smaller issues – the stove-top in my room did not work, there was no oven as listed. I wish there had been a luggage stool to put my suitcase on, and another trash can in the room – there was only a small one in the bathroom.

  Great locatin in Navarte Oriente. The area is not as busy or touristy as Condesa or Roma but still very close to lots of restaurants and taquerias. The room was absolutley enormous with a fridge, kitchentte and terrace.
  
  What could be improved: A coffee machine in the room would have been great – although there is a cafe in the building so it's easy enough to buy a coffee in the mornings.
