Nuevo Leon 155 by Wynwood House Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Nuevo Leon 155 by Wynwood House, you immediately get the sense that this isn’t your typical four-star hotel. The building sits right on Avenida Nuevo León in Roma Norte, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. I mean, you’re literally in one of Mexico City’s most vibrant neighborhoods — the kind of place where you can stumble upon incredible street art, cozy cafés, and those hole-in-the-wall taquerias that locals actually frequent.
The Neighborhood Advantage
What really struck me about staying here is how walkable everything is. You’ve got Parque México just a few blocks away, which is perfect for morning runs or evening strolls. The Condesa area bleeds right into Roma Norte, so you’re getting the best of both worlds without the tourist crowds that sometimes overwhelm other parts of the city. Actually, couples seem to really get this — they consistently rate the location around 8.7, and I can see why. There’s something romantic about wandering these tree-lined streets, ducking into mezcal bars, or catching live music at nearby venues.
The Room Experience
The room itself feels more like a boutique experience than a chain hotel stay. You know what I appreciated most? The attention to detail — from the locally-inspired design elements to the way natural light filters in during the day. The space doesn’t feel cramped, which can be a real issue in Mexico City hotels, and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of your suitcase the entire time. Plus, having reliable WiFi and good water pressure (trust me, this matters) makes the whole experience smoother.
Practical Perks
Here’s something that’ll save you headaches — they actually have free private parking on site. If you’ve ever tried to park in Roma Norte, you’ll understand why this is huge. Most places in the area either don’t offer parking or charge premium rates for it. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work, and they’re knowledgeable about the neighborhood in a way that feels authentic rather than scripted. When I asked about dinner recommendations, I got suggestions that led to some of my best meals in the city.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.4 rating isn’t just numbers — you can feel it in the details. Recent guests consistently highlight the location (scoring it 9.1), and after spending time here, I get it. You’re close enough to walk to Zona Rosa or catch the metro to other parts of the city, but you’re staying in a neighborhood that actually has character. The combination of being in Roma Norte with the convenience of hotel amenities creates this sweet spot where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Mexico City without sacrificing comfort. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because leaving feels premature.
Hotel in Mexico bookings spike during Formula 1 race week, so fans lock in suites overlooking Reforma’s parade route.

Reviews of Nuevo Leon 155 by Wynwood House
Moisés from Mexico – 17 May 2025 (10/10)
This property exceeded my expectations. I've stayed at other Wynwood properties, but this one is the most spacious one so far. All about the property is good. For example the TV has AppleTV, so I can stream from my computer to the TV. Location is excellent, many great restaurants are walking distance. Not sure if all rooms have it, but the one I stayed had a ping pong table.
