What really sold me was the free parking situation, which anyone who’s driven in Mexico City will tell you is basically like finding gold. The area feels safe for walking, and I noticed quite a few couples staying here, which makes sense given how romantic the tree-lined streets can be in the evenings.

The Space Itself

The apartment layout is what makes this place special — it’s not just a cramped hotel room with a bed shoved against the wall. There’s actual living space where you can spread out, plus a proper kitchen that’s fully equipped if you want to grab groceries from the local markets. I spent a good chunk of one afternoon just cooking with ingredients I’d picked up at a nearby mercado, and it felt more like staying at a friend’s place than being a tourist. The bedroom area is separate enough that it actually feels private, even if you’re traveling with someone.

Neighborhood Discoveries

What I really loved about staying here was stumbling onto the local scene — there’s this fantastic little restaurant about three blocks away that serves the most incredible mole I’ve had outside of Oaxaca. The neighborhood has that authentic Mexico City energy where you’ll hear mariachi music drifting from someone’s window and smell fresh tortillas being made down the street. It’s close enough to major attractions that you can easily get around, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds of tourists every time you step outside.

Honestly, the 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s one of those places that just works — you get way more space than you’d expect, the location gives you that authentic Mexico City experience without sacrificing convenience, and the whole setup feels more like borrowing someone’s apartment than staying in a hotel. The free parking alone probably saves you 20-30 dollars a day, and being able to cook your own meals means you can splurge on that amazing street food without breaking your budget. For couples especially, there’s something really nice about having a proper living space where you can actually relax together instead of being cramped in a tiny hotel room.

  Es un depa completo, super silencioso y privado, muy autónomo y la cama de buen tamaño y confortable
  
  What could be improved: Tiene avituallamientos muy justitos pero no fue realmente problema porque hay un oxxo en la esquina, sólo no esperes servicios de hotel porque no tiene. El conector del lado derecho de la cama no funcionaba, eso sí fue un leve latoso, pero en realidad la estancia completa fue sumamente confortable.

  Amazing place with a cozy and antique vibe. I am glad I stayed here. Location was also good. There is a laundry and Oxxo near by.
  
  What could be improved: The water pressure in the shower. Either it’s extremely hot or cold. It takes some time to adjust the pressure.
