Reviews of Best Western Majestic

  • Edwardo from United States – 20 February 2025 (8/10)

The view in room 310 is the best you can see the Mexican flag. The complex is a bit older but it’s still nice. I really enjoyed my stay. They had commentary water and the staff and cleaning lady were great.

What could be improved: Not total breakers l. But the shower was clogged and the water drained slow. We were there for only 3 days so it wasn’t really a problem. The 2nd is if they had a ceiling fan it would be better. We had to open the window to get some fresh air. Our room was in front of the zocalo Saturday nights were loud and busy pretty much all night long to early morning. We didn’t mind since we were tried everyday and slept through the noise. Just a heads up for light sleepers.

  • Scott from United States – 11 February 2025 (7/10)

    The location is excellent.
The lobby is interesting and spacious.
    The bathtub was very nice.
The room had a great view.
We enjoy the period and culturally relevant furniture like our room had with character, rather than the more common white walls of today.
The elevator operator (it's a wonderful antique elevator!) was pleasant and spoke excellent English.

What could be improved: The man at the front desk at check-in and afterwards was aloof. The women at the desk were more helpful and pleasant.
The wonderful view of the huge plaza has a price, which is the noise of the vendors and late night cleaning on the very clean pedestrian way. Double pane windows might help considerably or having a room that directly faces the Zócalo⁩ (Constitution Plaza) rather than the pedestrian road which is very pleasant to walk but is quite noisy most of the day and late at night during power wash cleaning.

Some of the front desk staff weren’t to cordial and engaged. Location is great, room was good. In the restaurant they explained breakfast wasn’t included. Understandable. But when I ask for a coffee at the table, the employee ask me to pay right away. Kind of rude. I understood breakfast wasn’t included but I wasn’t planning to run away with the coffee.
I would give them another chance next time I’m in Mexico City.

  • Nancy from United States – 7 November 2024 (8/10)

We came to Mexico City for the Dia De Los Muertos celebration. The hotel is located right by the Zocolo. The plaza was full of interesting sites and was very busy. Easy walking to other major historical sites.

What could be improved: The bells from the church went off at odd times of the night, but that's nothing the hotel can control so I really can't complain, but if you are a light sleeper you might no like it. Also no on site parking and we found it expensive.

  • Alonzo from United States – 22 October 2024 (8/10)

    Location and Price .
    Staff were excellent

What could be improved: The shower .
The design. The entire floor gets wet

  • Bradley from United Kingdom – 6 September 2024 (9/10)

Location was perfect, right outside Zocolo
Restaurant had nice food and an amazing view

What could be improved: No Aircon in the room

  • Marisol from United States – 29 August 2024 (9/10)

I loved the vibe of this hotel. The staff was great! They were very helpful and respectful. The room was clean, and the view was the indoor courtyard, which was absolutely beautiful!!! I would definitely stay here again.

What could be improved: I honestly did not find anything not to like about this property.

  • Cormac from Australia – 13 August 2024 (9/10)

Wonderful rooftop bar, nice room, and great staff.

  • Fiona from Ireland – 3 August 2024 (7/10)

    Location amazing

What could be improved: No hot water first morning after an international flight

  • Galvez from United States – 28 June 2024 (9/10)

I really truly like that It’s in a historical place in front of the Zocalo and the view from the restaurant. It’s spectacular. Also their stuff is very kind and give advice on what to do in the city. Mexicans are very kind people and these stuff is not the exception. We’ll definitely come back to stay here again.

What could be improved: Ahh no A/C but we understand it’s a historical building so it would be really hard to install an A/C also since the zocalo gets clean there is noice at midnight, but the last night we turned on the fan and close the window to have some sleep.
