This three-star spot in Mexico City doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and that’s exactly what makes it work so well. The building has that solid, no-nonsense feel you want when you’re looking for a reliable place to crash in one of the world’s biggest cities.

You’ve got local taquerias within walking distance, and the metro connections are actually pretty decent for getting around the city.

The Room and Comfort

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run three-star place — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. Nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed in Mexico City. The beds are firm (which I personally love), and the air conditioning actually keeps up with the heat. What really stood out was how quiet everything was — thick walls, good windows, the kind of setup that lets you actually get some sleep.

Here’s something that’ll save you both money and headaches — they’ve got free private parking right on site. If you’ve ever tried to park in Mexico City, you know this is basically like finding gold. I watched other guests pull up in their cars looking relieved, and I totally get why. The staff handles the whole thing smoothly, no drama or complicated procedures. Plus, having your car secure and accessible makes day trips outside the city so much easier to manage.

  Spacious, well equipped, two full bathrooms. Very nice staff.
  Communication was nice and easy.
  Not the most famous neighbourhood, but actually quite nice. Some lovely coffee places and plenty of good street food.

  It is a keypad-door-lock/code-door-lock with code-key to enter. Easy and secure.
  
  What could be improved: The neighbor upstairs often walks around in high heels early in the morning. The only other issue is the sofa-bed blanket, which is quite itchy. It needs to be change.
