What surprised me was how quiet the room actually stays despite being in such a busy area — the windows do a decent job of keeping the street noise manageable. The neighborhood transforms completely at night too, which is something you only really notice when you’re staying right in it rather than just visiting during the day.

The Space Itself

The apartment setup works really well, especially if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two. There’s a proper kitchen that actually functions — I mean, you can cook real meals here, not just heat up instant noodles. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciated. You know what really stood out? The little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need — decent lighting for reading, enough outlets for your devices, and storage space that makes sense. I found myself using Uber less than I expected because so much is accessible on foot. Parking can be tricky in this area if you’re driving, but most people won’t need a car staying here anyway.

  Departamento súper cómodo y equipado para 4 personas. El barrio si bien no es de los más turísticos está cercano a todo y pese a no tener la mejor imagen a nosotros nos resultó seguro. Seguridad 24 hs. Gente muy amable.

  Está cerca de estaciones de metrobús y metro por lo que es fácil desplazarse.
  
  La atención del host es muy buena y atenta el apartamento está bien cuidado cumpliendo con todo lo que se ofrece.

  The apartment is very central to get to most of the tourist attractions by bus or metro. A nice touch is that the owner leaves you with a metro/bus travel card , which makes life easier using the public transport. A big bonus is that the apartment is just minutes from a good sized supermarket which was good value.The apartment is basic but was very clean and the shower was good. The apartment block has security downstairs so made me feel safe . The local area has many local markets close by and I would definitely recommend trying out some of the local food stools.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment overall looked a bit tired and lacked a few items like a chopping board for preparing meals. The apartment could do with a couple of new knives to prepare food with as the ones currently in the apartment are totally blunt. The flooring is very tired in the lounge area and doesn't look like it does in the booking.com pictures. There is a smell of the drains, which the owner has tried to compensate with many air fresheners, but to be honest makes the smell worse. The smell wasn't constantly there mind you.This apartment is on the 5th floor and does not have a lift so, although for me wasn't such a problem, my dad is 70 years old and was a problem for him with all the stairs.
