Hotel Fleming Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Hotel Fleming, you immediately get that feeling of discovering something special tucked away in the heart of Mexico City. This three-star gem sits right on Revillagigedo Street in Centro Histórico, and honestly — the location couldn’t be better. I mean, you’re literally steps away from some of the city’s most incredible architecture and street food, but the hotel itself feels like a quiet refuge from all the beautiful chaos outside. The moment you enter, you sense the care taken in creating an intimate atmosphere that welcomes both solo travelers and families alike.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what really struck me about this place? It’s positioned perfectly for exploring the historic center without dealing with the tourist trap prices. The Zócalo is just a few blocks away, and you can actually walk to Palacio de Bellas Artes in about ten minutes. What I love is that couples seem to absolutely adore this spot — they consistently rate the location around 9.0, and I totally get why. There’s something romantic about wandering these colonial streets together, then having a cozy place to retreat to. The neighborhood pulses with authentic energy, from street vendors to hidden plazas waiting to be discovered.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with that classic Mexican charm you hope for but don’t always find. Nothing overly fancy, but everything worked well and felt thoughtfully arranged. The beds are actually quite comfortable — I slept better than I expected for a three-star property. The bathrooms are compact but functional, and honestly, when you’re spending most of your time exploring the city, you just need a good place to rest and refresh. Each detail reflects the hotel’s commitment to guest comfort and satisfaction.
Practical Perks
Here’s something that really sets Hotel Fleming apart — they offer free parking, which is honestly a game-changer in this part of the city. If you’re driving in Mexico City (brave soul!), you’ll appreciate not having to hunt for street parking or pay those hefty garage fees. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay smooth, and they’re pretty knowledgeable about the neighborhood. I asked for restaurant recommendations and got some solid local spots that weren’t just the obvious tourist places. This level of personalized service distinguishes the hotel from larger, more impersonal chains.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to this place is that perfect balance of location, value, and genuine hospitality. Recent guests consistently rate it highly — around 9.2 for location alone — and that’s not just marketing fluff. You’re getting authentic Mexico City vibes without breaking the bank, and you’re positioned to actually experience the city like a local rather than just checking off tourist boxes. The Centro Histórico can be overwhelming, but having Hotel Fleming as your base makes it feel manageable and exciting rather than chaotic. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel delivers an experience that exceeds expectations for its category.
Exploring Mexico reveals sugar-sculpted plazas, jungle ruins, and culinary festivals stretching from Tijuana to Tulum.

Nice and clean. I liked having a jacuzzi tub. Very close to Centro. The restaurante is good. Relatively quiet, not a lot of street noise.
What could be improved: I would have liked an ice machine, but that’s minor. Not much of a view, lots of auto parts stores, but a good deal for the price.Esteban from Colombia – 10 April 2023 (9/10)
