Hotel Milan CDMX Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Hotel Milan CDMX on Avenida Álvaro Obregón, you immediately get the sense this place knows what it’s doing. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top — honestly, that’s exactly what I loved about it. This three-star property sits right in the heart of Mexico City, and there’s something refreshing about a hotel that focuses on getting the basics absolutely right rather than drowning you in unnecessary frills.
Location & Neighborhood
The location is honestly spectacular, and I mean that — recent guests rated it 9.4, which doesn’t happen by accident. You’re on Álvaro Obregón, which puts you within walking distance of Roma Norte’s best cafes, galleries, and that whole creative scene that makes this area so magnetic. I noticed couples seem particularly drawn to this spot (they rated the location 9.3), and after spending time here, I totally get why. There’s something romantic about being able to stroll through tree-lined streets to dinner, then walk back without worrying about navigating across the sprawling city.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was clean, well-maintained, and — you know what struck me most? — thoughtfully designed for actual comfort rather than Instagram photos. The beds are genuinely comfortable, which matters more than you’d think after long days exploring the city. Air conditioning works properly (crucial in Mexico City), and the windows actually open if you prefer fresh air. It’s not fancy, but everything functions exactly as it should, and sometimes that’s worth more than marble bathrooms and gold fixtures.
Practical Perks
Here’s where Hotel Milan CDMX really wins me over — they offer private parking right at the hotel, which is honestly a game-changer in this part of the city. If you’re driving, you’ll appreciate not circling blocks looking for street parking. The continental breakfast is solid too — nothing fancy, but it gets you started properly for the day ahead. I actually found myself looking forward to the coffee each morning, which says something about their attention to details that matter.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it delivers on the fundamentals without any pretense. You’re paying for a well-located, properly run hotel that doesn’t waste your money on amenities you won’t use. The staff genuinely seems to care about your experience — not in that overly rehearsed way, but like they actually want you to enjoy Mexico City. For couples especially, this becomes your comfortable base while you explore one of the world’s great cities. It’s the kind of place where you sleep well, start your day right, and spend your time and energy on the incredible city outside rather than dealing with hotel hassles.

Reviews of Hotel Milan CDMX
Judith from Mexico – 6 April 2025 (7/10)
What could be improved: The elevator needs attention. Twice it stopped at floors other than the one I had requested. Once it never came. That in a four day period. Having once been trapped (briefly) in a malfunctioning elevator, I don’t want to have it happen again!

The price, the location, the anonymity.

I am fully satisfied with Hotel Milan. I've been to many hotels in Western Europe and Hotel Milan is on the same level. The room was spotlessly clean. The personnel were friendly and helpful and most of them spoke English, which is helpful because my Spanish is very basic. The area around the hotel is great. I would return any time if I ever visit CDMX again.
What could be improved: As many people mentioned earlier, the breakfast (which is included in the price) could be bigger. I usually had to extend it to be fully satisfied.Kimberly from United States – 17 January 2025 (8/10)
Property was very clean check in was easy everyone was helpful.
What could be improved: A little noisy being on 3rd floor woke up at 3am people talking out front. If available stay in an interior room that does face the streetAntonio from United States – 10 January 2025 (8/10)

Everything was really great. Big room with plenty of hot water. Good view. Free breakfast. Staff were so nice. Car to airport the next morning on time. I love this hotel for a quick overnight stay and can walk to Delirio to have lunch or dinner.
