First Impressions

The location in Colonia Juárez is actually brilliant — you’re right in the heart of Mexico City without being stuck in the touristy chaos of the Zócalo. I mean, you can walk to the Zona Rosa in about ten minutes, and you’re close enough to Polanco that getting there doesn’t require a major expedition. The neighborhood itself has this great mix of local cafes, small galleries, and tree-lined streets that make you feel like you’re experiencing the real city. Couples absolutely love it here (and I can see why — there’s something romantic about those quiet evening strolls through the area), but it works just as well if you’re traveling solo or on business.

The Room Experience

My room was exactly what I hoped for — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged without any unnecessary frills. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable), and there’s enough space to actually unpack and spread out a bit. You know what I appreciated? The windows actually open, which is rarer than it should be these days, and the air conditioning works quietly when you need it. The bathroom is compact but well-designed, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water — those little things that can make or break your stay.

Service & Atmosphere

Here’s where Hotel Premier really shines — the service feels personal without being intrusive. The front desk staff genuinely seems to care about helping you figure out the best way to get around the city, and they’ll give you actual local recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the obvious tourist spots. I noticed how many guests were clearly repeat visitors, chatting with the staff about previous stays and asking about each other’s families. That kind of loyalty doesn’t happen by accident — it’s the result of consistently treating people well over time.

  What could be improved: No air con or fan meant the room felt a bit stuffy even though it was relatively cool in The city – though there were a couple of windows with mosquito netting to open which helped. I’d have stayed longer had there been a fan in the room to improve air circulation.

  The price for the number of days was very affordable. The Location was excellent, prime location for seeing the city. Definitely worth the trip if you are on a budget and traveling to multiple areas in the city. The cleaning staff were super nice and were very helpful with a request to accommodate. Very clean as well.
