When I first walked into Luxury 2 BR Condo – Rooftop Pool with City View, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property in Mexico City. But you know what? This place completely surprised me. The building itself sits right in Cuauhtémoc — which, if you know the city at all, puts you smack in the middle of everything that matters. The lobby’s nothing fancy, but there’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with marble and chandeliers.

The Space That Actually Works

The apartment itself is where this place really shines. Two proper bedrooms mean you’re not cramming everyone into one space, and the living area actually feels like somewhere you’d want to hang out rather than just crash. The kitchen comes fully equipped — I mean really equipped, not just a mini-fridge and a prayer. You can actually cook here if you want to save some pesos or just need your morning coffee exactly how you like it. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in some sterile hotel room.

That Rooftop Situation

Here’s the thing about the rooftop pool — it’s not huge, but honestly, who cares when you’ve got those city views? I spent way more time up there than I planned, especially in the evenings when the city lights start twinkling. The pool’s perfect for cooling off after walking around the neighborhood all day, and there’s enough space to actually relax without feeling like you’re on top of other guests. It’s one of those spots where you end up staying longer than you meant to.

Location That Gets It Right

Cuauhtémoc is sort of the sweet spot in Mexico City — close enough to the historic center that you can walk to major sites, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with constant tourist chaos. The parking situation here is actually a relief if you’re driving, which in this city is no small thing. I found myself walking to most places though — there’s a great local market about ten minutes away, and the metro connections are solid. Recent guests have been rating the location a perfect 10, and I get why.

Why Guests Love It

This place works because it doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. You’re getting a comfortable, well-located base in Mexico City without paying five-star prices. The couples who stay here seem to really appreciate having actual space to spread out — two bedrooms means one can be a proper bedroom while the other becomes an office or just extra storage for all the stuff you inevitably accumulate. Plus, there’s something nice about having that rooftop retreat when the city gets overwhelming. It’s the kind of place where you feel settled rather than just temporarily housed.

  Lovely rooftop pool, friendly & helpful building security, 3 TVs, great aesthetic & wardrobes w/massive mirrors & laundry. Location is phenomenal. Very close to the park. Decent gym
  
  What could be improved: Oven wasn’t functional. No early or late checkout. In flexibility in or stated no luggage store but bldg security allow us to leave our bags in the lobby.

  Luxe appartement op een toplocatie met een werkelijk heerlijk rooftop terras en zwembad. De kleine maar fijne gym bevindt zich ook op de bovenste verdieping en kijkt uit over het park. Dit geheel wordt schoongehouden door een schoonmaakster. Het appartement is gloednieuw en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, zelfs een wasmachine/droger combinatie die uitstekend werkt! In de keuken bevinden zich 2 waterkranen. Wij verwarden de kleine kraan voor een Quooker, echter daar komt gezuiverd (koud) water uit dat gedronken kan worden. Het enige wat we misten in de keuken was een waterkoker. Het appartement bevindt zich op de 4e verdieping (van 9 of 10 verdiepingen) en vangt daglicht vanuit een soort binnenplaats, dit maakte het een tikje somber. Voor een vakantie vonden wij dit geen probleem. Naya Homes was goed bereikbaar via de mail en toonde zich heel gastvrij. De sleutel van het appartement was te vinden in een sleutelkastje naast de voordeur waarvan we de code per mail ontvingen. Heel handig want we kwamen laat aan. Bij de portiek beneden staat 24/7 een vriendelijke bewaker die de deur voor je open houdt. In de directe omgeving zijn tal van leuke restaurantjes en het park dat prachtig in bloei stond met een paarse bloesem. De sfeer in de wijk is gemoedelijk en we voelden ons veilig. Dit appartement is absoluut een aanrader!
