B&B México Roma Norte Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to B&B México Roma Norte on Oaxaca street, you immediately get that “this is why I came to Mexico City” feeling. It’s tucked into one of those beautiful early 20th-century buildings that Roma Norte does so well — you know, the kind with character etched into every corner. This three-star spot doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and honestly, that’s exactly what works about it. The entrance feels more like stepping into someone’s thoughtfully designed home than a typical hotel lobby.
The Roma Norte Magic
Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re literally in the heart of one of Mexico City’s most walkable neighborhoods. I mean, couples are rating the location 9.1 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You can walk to Mercado Medellín for incredible food shopping, hit up the weekend markets at Parque España, or just wander the tree-lined streets discovering coffee shops and galleries. The area has this perfect mix of local life and creative energy that makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing the city, not just visiting it.
Your Room
The room I stayed in had that clean, minimalist Mexican aesthetic — think warm woods, crisp white linens, and just enough local touches to remind you where you are. Nothing fancy, but everything you need is there and works well. The beds are comfortable (which, let’s be honest, is what really matters after a day of walking around the city), and the bathrooms are modern and spotless. What struck me most was how quiet it stays despite being on a fairly busy street — the old building construction actually works in your favor here.
Morning Fuel
The continental breakfast setup is simple but hits the right notes. Fresh fruit, good coffee (this is Mexico City, after all), pastries, and usually some local options that change day to day. It’s served in a bright common area that feels more like a café than a hotel dining room. I actually ended up chatting with other guests most mornings — there’s something about the relaxed atmosphere that makes people more social than usual. You’re not going to get a massive spread, but you’ll definitely leave satisfied and ready to explore.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back here isn’t any single standout feature — it’s how everything comes together. The location gets you everywhere you want to go in Roma Norte and beyond, the staff genuinely seems to care about your experience, and the whole place has this authentic Mexico City vibe that bigger hotels just can’t replicate. Recent guests consistently rate it highly because it delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located base for exploring one of the city’s best neighborhoods. You’re paying for the experience of staying in Roma Norte, not for premium amenities, and that trade-off makes perfect sense.

Reviews of B&B México Roma Norte
Lewis from United Kingdom – 5 December 2024 (8/10)
Such nice people, providing helpful information and recommendations on arrival. The breakfast was fantastic, different hot and cold food, with nice coffee served each day!
The location was great, in the heart of Roma Norte, so many good restaurants and bars in walk g distance. I also went running as it’s near Chapultepec park.
Nice large room, with all that you need for a short stay. The shower was also very good.
What could be improved: You could easily hear others and the water seemed to run out quick.
Shared bathroom was ok, but toilet paper could be better stockedLaura from United Kingdom – 24 October 2024 (8/10)
B&B Roma Norte is a cozy spot for a quick stay. The host was welcoming and made us feel at home, even during our brief visit. We appreciated the experience and hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

Great location, walkable to many great food spots and attractions. Breakfast was good. Very good security too.
The owner & other staff were very nice and friendly, so was Pingo their cute dog 🐕
What could be improved: Although the security system was very thorough, we really didn’t like the entry system to the property as we had to wait a little a few times before being buzzed in. This is not a reason to avoid staying here however.Paola from Croatia – 2 January 2024 (9/10)
Great location, clean and comfortable, the lady who works there is very nice and always with smile.
What could be improved: You have key of room, but you don' have key of apartment and building so you need to ring every time when you return to the room, if it is early or late I feelt uncomfortable. The owner is too official..Ferdinand from Netherlands – 11 November 2023 (9/10)

it’s located very close to the safe part of Mexico City, near the American embassy, ASC visa processing center, the Independence monument. it is cozy place. No private bathroom. enterance is always manned by staff and is not immediately or privately accessible
Good Breakfast items. staff and service is excellent.
What could be improved: WiFi is slow sometimes in case you need to do any heavy duty work.Alisa from Italy – 25 December 2022 (8/10)
Good location, close to the metro and in a good neighborhood. Very kind and nice reception, they prepared vegan breakfast on request. The room was quite spacious.
What could be improved: Not much light in the room and it’s very ascetic, there were no glasses or no small table in the room for example. but for us it was ok, we stayed just 2 nightsCornelia from Switzerland – 16 November 2022 (9/10)
Delicious breakfast (different every morning), really nice location, lots of restaurants near by, lots of space, very clean
What could be improved: the doors are quite loud if you close them (problem at night) but apart from that everything was perfectYurina from Mexico – 30 August 2022 (9/10)
They serve Mexican style breakfast every day and it was very nice.
Family manages accommodation and very fast reply and attention to your requests and questions.
What could be improved: It would be better if they had outlet each side of the bed instead of center above.
