You’re close enough to the action without being stuck in the middle of all the noise and chaos that comes with staying right in the historic center. Plus, there’s free parking on-site, which anyone who’s tried to park in Mexico City will tell you is basically like finding gold.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was clean and functional — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly. You know what I mean? The air conditioning actually cooled the space, the shower had decent water pressure, and the bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a sore back. The windows are well-insulated too, so even though you’re in a busy city, you can actually get some sleep at night. It’s the kind of place where you realize they’ve thought through the basics really well.

Service & Atmosphere

What struck me most was how many guests seemed to be returning visitors. The front desk staff clearly recognized people, and there was this easy familiarity that you don’t usually see at hotels.   Quiet, clean, close to the places we needed to visit, big room, excellent value.
  
  What could be improved: It was rainy season, there was many mosquitoes, but I just purchased an aromatic repellent, plug it in, and problem fixed.

  The staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are very clean and secure and spacious. The value, for me, is high after looking at other hotels in the historic center. It is located on a quiet street and not any major traffic noise problem. Many street food vendors in the area and a big grocery store within 2 blocks. The area gets negative reviews but is unwarranted. Just do not go out late at night.
