You can walk to proper taquerías where office workers grab lunch, not tourist traps, and the metro connections are solid if you want to hit the centro histórico or Polanco.

Your Room

The room I stayed in was clean and functional — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which honestly isn’t always a given in this price range. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom had decent water pressure (always a concern in older Mexico City buildings). What really struck me was how quiet it was at night, considering you’re still very much in the city. The windows actually block out most of the street noise, which is pretty impressive.

Getting Around

You know what’s great? The parking situation is actually manageable if you’re driving, though I’d honestly recommend just using public transport from here. The Patriotismo metro station is walkable, and from there you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without the headache of Mexico City traffic. Plus, there are enough local buses running along the main streets that you’ll rarely wait more than ten minutes for a ride.

Couples seem to really connect with this place — there’s something about the neighborhood’s relaxed pace that makes it perfect for romantic getaways. You’re close enough to all the major attractions but far enough from the tourist chaos to actually enjoy each other’s company.   Está increíblemente bonito, y por el precio realmente no existe nada mejor. Un espacio amplio, muy bien decorado. La cama demasiado cómoda, y cuenta con todo lo necesario para estar cómodo.
  
  What could be improved: La señal era muy mala. No sé si tenía que ver con mi celular pero tampoco el wifi funcionaba adecuadamente. Realmente no tuve mucho problema ya que no tenía la necesidad. Fuera de eso en serio todo excelente.
