Hotel Torremolinos Vallejo Ciudad de Mexico Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Hotel Torremolinos Vallejo Ciudad de Mexico, you immediately get the sense that this is a place that knows its purpose. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t — this three-star property in Azcapotzalco delivers exactly what you need without any unnecessary frills. The lobby feels welcoming in that understated way, and honestly, after dealing with Mexico City’s traffic, you’ll appreciate how the staff gets you checked in quickly and efficiently.
The Azcapotzalco Advantage
Here’s what I really like about staying in this part of Mexico City — you’re away from the tourist chaos but still connected to everything that matters. Azcapotzalco has this authentic neighborhood feel that you just don’t get in the more central areas. The Prohogar area where the hotel sits is actually pretty quiet, which couples seem to love (they rate the location 8.8, and I can see why). You know what’s great? There’s free private parking right at the hotel, which — trust me — is a huge deal in this city where finding a safe spot for your car can be a real headache.
Room Comfort
The room I stayed in was clean and functional, with everything working as it should. I mean, the décor isn’t going to win any design awards, but the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning actually worked well — something you definitely want during Mexico City’s warmer months. The bathroom was spotless, and there’s decent water pressure, which honestly surprised me for a hotel in this price range. What I appreciated most was how quiet it was at night, even though you’re on a main avenue.
Morning Fuel
Breakfast here covers the basics with both Continental and American options. The coffee is actually pretty good — not amazing, but definitely better than what you’ll find at many hotels in this category. They have the usual suspects: eggs, toast, some fruit, and a few Mexican touches that add some local flavor. It’s the kind of breakfast that gets you ready for a day of exploring without breaking the bank or taking up too much time.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t a fancy resort, but that’s exactly why it works so well. The 8.7 rating tells the real story — people come here and get exactly what they’re looking for: a clean, safe, well-located place to sleep without paying downtown prices. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay smooth, and there’s something refreshing about a hotel that focuses on doing the basics really well. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city anyway, this gives you a solid home base that won’t drain your travel budget.
To book hotel in Mexico for Día de los Muertos parades, travelers secure rooms months ahead to pair plaza vigils with dawn churros.

A very comfortable place with the basic amenities to stay for a weekend, perfectly place in a nearby transportation station. Cheap, pretty and clean.
