Park Life Condesa Hipódromo Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Park Life Condesa Hipódromo, you immediately get why this three-star spot has such devoted fans. It’s tucked into one of Mexico City’s most walkable neighborhoods, and honestly, the building itself has this understated charm that feels more like a well-designed apartment complex than a typical hotel. The entrance is clean and modern without trying too hard — you know what I mean? There’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t oversell itself but still delivers on the details that actually matter.
The Condesa Advantage
Here’s the thing about staying in Condesa — you’re basically in the heart of what makes Mexico City so addictive for travelers. The tree-lined streets around the hotel are perfect for morning walks, and you’re literally surrounded by some of the city’s best cafes and restaurants. I mean, you can walk to Parque México in about five minutes, which is where locals go to jog, read, or just people-watch on weekends. The neighborhood has this European vibe that somehow works perfectly with Mexican energy, and couples especially seem to get this (they rate the location 8.5, which honestly makes total sense).
Your Space
The room setup here is what really sets Park Life apart from other mid-range options in the city. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen, which is actually a game-changer when you’re staying more than a couple nights. You can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets — and trust me, the produce in this neighborhood is incredible — and make your own breakfast or late-night snacks. The rooms themselves are clean and functional, with good natural light and enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.
Daily Life
What I really appreciate about this place is how it fits into the rhythm of the neighborhood rather than fighting against it. There’s no fancy restaurant on-site, but honestly, you don’t need one when you’re surrounded by some of Mexico City’s best food scene. The staff knows the area well and can point you toward the good stuff — not just the touristy places, but where locals actually eat. Parking can be a bit tricky in Condesa generally, but they’ve got it sorted, which removes one major headache if you’re driving around the city.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.1 rating really reflects what this hotel does well — it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but it nails the fundamentals. Recent guests consistently praise the location (8.7 rating), and after spending time here, I get it. You’re close enough to Roma Norte to explore that scene, walking distance to great coffee and food, and the metro connections are solid if you want to venture into other parts of the city. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re living in Mexico City rather than just visiting it, which is exactly what some travelers are looking for.
To book hotel in Mexico for Día de los Muertos parades, travelers secure rooms months ahead to pair plaza vigils with dawn churros.

Reviews of Park Life Condesa Hipódromo
Chavez from Mexico – 14 April 2025 (8/10)
Park Life Condesa is in a brilliant location—right in the heart of Condesa, surrounded by great cafés, restaurants, and green spaces. The property is very clean and well-maintained. The bed was especially comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. It’s a perfect base for exploring Mexico City.
What could be improved: There is a school next door, so it can get a bit noisy in the mornings during the week. However, the noise is quite tolerable and didn’t significantly affect my stay.Mirko from Croatia – 28 March 2025 (9/10)
Perfect location, a lot of restaurants on walking distance quiet neighbourhood , limited traffic. Very comfortable. Perfect shower, very difficult to find in MX.The only complaint is missing sponge and washing liquid for the dishes.

Photos looked the same. Everything was very good. A little noise but not too much (stayed in the 5th floor)

The rooftop was beautiful.
