Most hotels around here either don’t have it or charge you daily for the privilege. You’ll find the neighborhood genuinely walkable, with restaurants and galleries scattered throughout.

The Room Experience

The room setup is pretty straightforward but functional — nothing fancy, but everything you actually need works well. What surprised me was how quiet it stays despite being so centrally located. The windows do a decent job blocking out street noise, which matters when you’re this close to Paseo de la Reforma. You know what really makes a difference? The little details like having enough outlets near the bed and decent water pressure in the shower. Each kitchen area is well-equipped for extended stays.

The metro connections from here are actually fantastic — Cuauhtémoc station is close enough that you can reach Coyoacán or even Xochimilco without much hassle. But honestly, a lot of what you’ll want to see is walkable.   For me as a solo traveller looking for clean, safe and simple accomodation in location that is reachable with public tranportation from different locations – this was excactly that. Yes, it is tiny, but you can cook simple breakfast and there is a supermarket nearby. Communication with owner was efficient.
  
  One night (friday) there was music extremely loud (bed shaking loud) for about an hour during the night, but all other nights were really quiet (I spent 4 there). Maybe it was just a random party in the building.

  Very good location – lots of cafes, restaurants, parks, local markets and supermarkets within easy walking distance. About 15-20 minutes to Zocalo. The room was very small, but well equipped. The kitchen was okay for preparing small meals only, and the Internet was very fast. All the building staff and the apartment owner, Wendy, were very friendly and helpful. It's like a nice college dorm room.
  
  What could be improved: Some areas nearby are packed with homeless and immigrant encampments. It's pretty sad, not dangerous.

  Incredibly easy to access thanks to Wendy and to the processes in place! We loved the decoration and style of the place, plus it was super clean. The kitchen is kitted out with microwave, oven, hob, fridge, coffee machine… Everything you could need. The bathroom is also super unique and pretty! We most enjoyed the view from the balcony, it gave us plenty to watch while relaxing in the living room.
  
  What could be improved: We found it quite hot in the last couple of days because there was an unexpected heatwave in Mexico City in February, but there was a fan in one bedroom.
